The Mississippi Economic Council, in partnership with its network of local, regional, and other chambers of commerce, will host a series of meetings throughout Mississippi. The Amplify 2024 Regional Tour will provide an opportunity for greater regional collaboration by bringing together leaders in business, economic development, workforce, education, housing, and other community representatives from across the state. Participants will hear directly from Scott Waller on MEC’s 2024 Legislative Priorities, and also from representatives and subject matter experts on the topics below:
Those who register will be invited to participate in the Amplify 2024 Regional Tour survey. The Mississippi Economic Council has announced it will host a series of meetings throughout Mississippi, in partnership with its network of local, regional, and other chambers of commerce; These meetings will serve to foster greater regional collaboration by bringing together leaders in business, economic development, workforce, education, housing, and other community representatives from across the state. Participants will hear directly from Scott Waller on MEC’s 2024 Legislative Priorities. Participants will also hear from representatives and subject matter experts on the topics below:
- Healthcare
- Education K-12 and Post Secondary
- Student Financial Aid
- Workforce Funding
The results of the individual surveys will be reviewed at the corresponding region’s tour stop. A compilation of all surveys will be available at MEC’s Annual Meeting on April 18, 2024.

Step One: Confirm which Mississippi Economic designated region you are located in. Statewide leaders and businesses, associations, and organizations that operate in more than one region are encouraged to participate in the full meeting schedule.
